Classroom Pictures Part 2

I've been spending a decent amount of time in my room lately.  I knew it would take a long time to get things in order but I've been there over 15 hours (with helpers...strong men helpers) and I'm not done!  

So weeks ago I posted pictures of how I left my room in June.  Here's the cliffnotes for my new followers:
Accepted a new position the last week of school (that teacher retired)...the last day of school she moved her 30 year collection to my room...I posted pictures of that collection here.

Here is how my room looked as of yesterday (Sorry some of the fonts are a little blurry): 








Hopefully, next week I'll post Part 3 - the completed room :)

    Those new storage cabinets are brilliant - should be in every teaching room! Love the term 'teachery-items'...

    I can't get into my classroom yet so am anticipating doing exactly what you are doing in the next week! I like how your organize your social studies themes in the colored boxes - that's a nice idea! Can't wait to see when it's all done!

    I'm jealous of all the storage you have! If I was closer, I would take some of the cabinets you are putting away! I also changed rooms and grade levels. When I finally got to go into my new room, I found that I had to clean out 3 file cabinets! I also only have 2 bookcases, which are full and I have 3 more boxes of books to put away! Guess I'll be purging my books! I'm your newest follower. I found you through Mrs. H's Resource Room.

    Thanks ladies! Mary, I know exactly how you feel! I had a TON of stuff put into my room from the retired teacher and it's overwhelming. I am following all of you now too!
